Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Shaka Roofing is a Florida Certified Roofing Contractor (license CCC1335585) and fully insured, and we’re a GAF Certified Plus™ Contractor trained to install GAF roofing systems to the manufacturer’s standards.
Do you provide a warranty?
Every Shaka Roofing roof installation includes a 10-year workmanship warranty. GAF shingle roofs can also be registered for the GAF Silver Pledge™ limited warranty; see GAF’s warranty terms for coverage details.
How do I spot storm damage?
While missing, flipped back, or curled shingles are easier to spot, many issues aren’t as visible from the ground. Less obvious creased shingles or hail damage also compromise the integrity of your roof. If in doubt give us a call and get your roof professionally inspected for free!
Does my roof need to be replaced or can it be repaired?
In most cases, leaking roofs do not need to be replaced unless they are really old. Missing, cracked, or broken shingles can be repaired and replaced to stop a leak while roofs with multiple leaks or widespread issues should be replaced.
Can I repair the roof myself?
Some small jobs can be handled by DIY homeowners. However, major roof work or replacement can be a very complex process that requires training and should be left to the professionals.
How long does it take to replace or repair a roof?
With our dedicated Shaka crew we typically do most residential shingle roof replacements in 1-2 days.
